We at Global have been selling safety footwear since 1991. Back in those days we offered shoes that were only meant for safety. They did not look good neither were they comfortable as the shoes and boots that we sell today. As years passed people started demanding footwear that was more comfortable. So we sold them shoes that were safe and comfortable. Nowadays our customers want shoes are not only safe and comfortable but also good looking! As one of our customers said ‘ I want to look like Dwayne Wade when I work!
Global carries the largest inventory of safety footwear in Miami – Dade County. We carry many quality brands such as Timberland, Converse, Lehigh, Wolverine and Rocky. We have puncture resistant footwear, footwear to protect against electrical hazards, water, slips and falls ( both oil and water). Many of our models sport a composite toe cap. A composite toe cap can be lighter, does not conduct heat or cold and can go through metal detectors at places like an airport without setting off alarms.
For law enforcement and public safety we carry Bates, Thorogood, Original Swat and several other known brands. Some of them gives protection from blood borne pathogens ideally suited for EMT workers, Paramedics and Fire Fighters.
