How to guarantee safety at your job

A host of precautionary measures are available today for workers to engage in their routine occupational activities with self-assuarance on safety.Many of these measures are deemed mandatory for the workers whilst as equally strong responsibily is ethically and legally thrust upon the employers in promoting and maintaining worker safety to a highest degree.Failiure of compliance by either party in following their respective resposibilities is sure to cause physical and financial damage before long.
Let’s see what these basic safety measures are?

1.   Wear a hard hat made for the right purpose when its use its use is essential to avert physical injury to head and even to rest of the body from falling objects ,the occurance of which is mostly prevalant in construction, minning , chemical and a host of other heavy and light industries.

2.  Keep your feet and toes well protected by wearing steel-toed  boots.

3.  Safety goggles or glasses are great for protecting the eyes. They shoud be worn when doing many jobs.In electrical,thermal and chemical industries safety glasses are essential .So are they in construction, auto,ship building and air craft industries. One cannot really percieve any occupation  where this may not be necessary as they become  vital at some stage of any industrial process.

4.  Signs symbolizing certain instructions as to the occupational safety of the workers are of paramount importance in almost every industry. Employers are are duty bound to post signs that are meant for worker health and safety under industrial regulations in many countries.

5.  An essential requisite in any workplace is a first Aid kit.It enables emergency treatment to woker casualties should any industrial mishap occurs before they are refered to proper and higher medical attention .

Both employers and employees should be knowledgeable enough of industrial safety and  their proper implementation for the good of the whole industry.
