Safety at Construction Sites

Thousands of workers across the world are palgued with this common tribulation every year. Severe falls, head injuries,crushed and broken limbs,burns,slips and trips,electrocution and a host of other  grave or minor accidents occur at construction sites frequently.Tragic deaths too are not a rare occurance as could be seen or heard from media news.But these accidents do not have to happen as often as they do.
Staying safe is a job priority for all workers and mandatory for the employers to ensure worker safety enviornments.Taking safety precautions is the only way to avoid accidents or at least make the accidents less severe.
Ten Safety Tips for construction sites:
1. Wear protective gear such as helmets,masks,safety boots etc,.

2. Keep a safety distance from glass.
3. Refrain from keeping objects on ledges and other
vantage points where they are not supposed to
be,because they are likely to fall and cuase injury.
4. Lift weights in proper manner and with care.
5. Do not keep objects on the path hindering
movement of heavy and large items.
6. Use tools and machinery in which you have
experience and well trained.
7. Use tools and machinery with care and respect.
8. Beware of exposed wires and other sources of
electrical discharges.
9. Wear protective mask when being exposed to
fumes and dust.
10. Beware of health hazards when working on
materials such as asbestos and lead paint and
wear protective gear.
