As the weather is up many people decide to go walking for leisure and for health. Unfortunately drivers do not always pay attention to walkers as night falls ,To avoid an accident a safety vest with reflective stripes would be added protection against distracted drivers.
Every year more than 5000 pedestrians are killed in traffic related incidents in the United States alone.
Wearing reflective clothing is a good defence against invisibility,but you need to be sure the reflective areas are large enough and are exposed from every angle.Vehicles heading toward you can see you ,but not thosse at side streets? Will that reflective logo on your shirt be enough ,epecially if you hide it under a jacket?
Wearing an orange or lime colored safety vest with reflective stripes over your clothes when walking at night will ensure that you’ll be seen by drivers any time of the day.
